SEPTEMBER 18, 2014
HISTORICAL EVENT AT
THE REMNANT TABERNACLE OF PRAISE
The Remnant Tabernacle of Praise will be holding its official Pastoral Election on September 20, 2014 at the church premises. This pastoral election – the first in the church’s fourteen year history – became necessary as a result of the accidental death of our founding pastor – Dr Kendal C. Stubbs, approximately two years ago, in November 2012.
For the past twenty two months, Remnant has been ably led by the Co–Chairs of the Church’s Council – Ministers Edmund Stubbs and Wendell Pratt.
After our six-month mourning period, we are indeed grateful to almighty God that, under the guidance of the Pastoral Search Committee chaired by Deacons Neville Braynen and J. Edison Deleveaux, we have finally reached this important milestone – the selection of a pastor to continue the legacy of Dr. Kendal C. Stubbs.
Saturday, September 20, 2014 will therefore mark a new beginning for the members of Remnant. It will signal the end of a dynamic and historic period in the life of the church under the visionary leadership of our beloved pastor – Dr. Kendal C. Stubbs. It will also bring to a climax the sixteen (16) month search by the eleven - member Pastoral Search Committee for God’s choice for this season in the life of the church.
The officers and members of The Remnant Tabernacle of Praise, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, will, through this historic election process, select one of two pastoral candidates to continue the great work being undertaken here at
The Church That The Lord Built.
